Click on Tools, then Options, then Send, then the HTML Settings under
Mail Sending Format. If there's no check mark in the box before Send
pictures
with messages, click on this box. Click on OK. If there is no blue dot in
the
circle before HTML under Mail Sending Format, click on this circle. Click
on
Apply, then OK.
When trying to send an attachment, make sure all other programs that use it
are closed before telling Windows Mail to attach the file containing it.
For certain types of files, such as .exe files, this may still fail to work,
but it
should at least let you attach some types of files.
It may also help to tell your antivirus program to check the file you plan
to
attach.
