attachments property in table

I want to create a field in a table that uses the "attachments" field type,
but when I look at the dropdown list attachemnt does not show up as an
option. Is there something I have to do in order to activate that field type.
I notice when I create a new dB (locally)that the option is there.

To use the Attachement field type, you must:
a) be using Access 2007
b) be in an ACCDB (not MDB.)

you're on Access 2007?

you need to make sure that you're using the AccDB format; the MDB
format is depecrated and doesn't work

MDB is obsolete

it hasn't gotten a single bug fix in a decade
