attachments not opening

We have had windows mail for two years, suddenly I can not open any
attachments. If you click on it to open it acts like its working and then
its gone.
any thoughts on this? Thanks,
 
Which antivirus are you running? Some of them cause problems with
Windows Mail over time.
 
It can hardly be considered the same issue if you use a different mail
client. Outlook issues should be posted in the Outlook newsgroup.
