attachments not opening

purchased/installed 2009 bitdefender, now can not open attachments in mail.
please help.

If you think that the program you installed caused this problem, then either
remove it or ask the software provider to help you?
 
I have the same problem today. I can't open attachments in mail since today.
Please help too.

An other Vista user.
 
When you try, what exactly does the error message say?
Does it happen with different types of attachments, DOC, PDF, JPG, etc.?
Did the problem begin after you installed IE8?

Do you really have the *SAME* problem?
Are you using "Bitdefender"?
