attachments are sometimes not received in outlook express

Hi. My colleague sometimes does NOT receive attachments in emails sent to
her; I receive them without problem. These are .pdf documents.

When she receives the email (that should contain the .pdf), there is not
even an indication that there is/was an attachment.

Unfortunately, it does not always happen like this...sometimes she DOES
receive the attachment. So far, it is only from one sender that we are aware
of.

What might cause behavior like this, and what should we be looking at?

Thanks so much in advance, for any help you can provide for this really
puzzling situation.

And you are using Outlook? Not Outlook Express?
What version?
What message format do you use?
In case of Rich Text switch to HTML or Plain Text.

Outlook Express 6.
Regarding the message format: are you referencing the format the sender uses?

The format of the message that should contain your attachment.

Note that this is an Microsoft Office Outlook forum.

Outlook Express is family of Internet Explorer and Outlook of the Office
family.

Sorry. I see that you've moved the thread to the correct forum.
Anyone here in the OE forum -- any suggestions?
