Attachment missing when sending to Some Recepients

System: Outlook 2002 +MX Contact Plugin (www.mxcontact.com)

Problem: Some recepients who use to receive my attachments, are now not
receiving my attachments.

Issues Established So far:
a) Some recepients receive a " winmail.dat " file
b) Problem seems to occur with users who do not have MS Outlook 2002 >

Solutions I've tried so far when testing with an Outlook Express User.
*I understand this problem is related to Outlook sending in RTF format, so
I've tried the following*
a) Tried disabling Word as my editor (Unsuccessful)
b) Tried converting all mail to HTML Format (Unsuccessful)
c) Convert all mail to Plain Text (Successful)

So by converting all mail to Plain text works, however I loose all my
benefits or HTML & Word....

a) Any ideas around this?
b) Why has it worked previously, but yet only just come about within the
last month or so? Could it be part of a recent Window Update?

Thanks
Simon

My opinion is that if you can't say what you want without fancy-schmancy
glitz and glitter, it's not worth saying. However, there are times when
formatting is needed. In those cases, compose your Word document and send
it as an attachment to a Plain Text message.

That's a TNEF (Transport-Neutral Encapsulation Format) and seems a pretty
good indication that you're actually sending Rich Text.

Only Outlook understands the Microsoft-specific TNEF encoding. Other
clients don't know what to do with it. See if something here helps:
