Attachment Is Path Not File

I have two users running Outlook 2002 on an IMAP server
(IE 6x, WinXP) with the same problem. When they attach a
file to a message, it is actually the path to the file,
not the file itself. Any ideas?

Exactly how do they try to include the attachment? What message format are
they using?
