Attachment icon when there's no attachment

I just transitioned from OE to Outlook 2000. Now every message I send (at
least to Yahoo accounts) comes with a non-clickable Attachment icon, even
though there's nothing attached to the message. I've tried eliminating the
signature, but that didn't help. Ideas?

Make sure your message format is plain text or html and consider disabling
Word as your e-mail editor. (All done under tools | options | mail format
in outlook 2000.)
