When receiving e-mails with attachment, I can't determine the reason; the
attachment is there - you can view attachments, save attachments but the
attachment doesn't show when you open the e-mail. There is a paperclip so I
know that the attachment is there in the fist place.

Could it be that there are embedded pictures in the message? Signature
perhaps?

Tips of the month:
-FREE tool; QuickMail. Create new Outlook items anywhere from within Windows
-Properly back-up and restore your Outlook data

Sorry, I should have specified that there is an excel attachment. This does
not happen with all e-mails. On most you open them and there is the
attachment right at the top but in a couple you have to go to save
attachment for you to even know there is an attachment once you open it.

In what message format are they? Rich Text, HTML or Plain Text?

I believe either HTML or Rich Text my client is gone for the day.

I believe word is set to be the default editor.
