Attaching Temperature Probes

X-ray Doc

I have a digital readout with two separate temperature
probes. The probes are small and flat and originally
came with some small pieces of tape to hold them in
place. Well, the tape has lost its stickiness and scotch
tape doesn't seem to work too well. I'd like to stick
one on the CPU heatsink and one on the video card
heatsink. Do you think that I could use a glue to hold
them in place? I obviously don't want to use something
that will melt or even catch on fire. Does anyone have a
suggestion of what to use exactly? Tape just doesn't
seem to hold up and the probes come free after a short
while. Thanks.

There are thermal adhesives, that will work. A good
computer shop should have the stuff.
