How does one attach a previously received/sent email to an email message one
is preparing?

For example: I receive from or send an email to person A. Person B emails
me asking for something which I had covered in the email to A. How do I
reply to B and attach the email I had already sent to A?

Thanks for your help.

What's your response to the question? You left me scratching my head!

One way to do this is to select the folder that contains the
message to be attached, left click on the message in the grouping
pane, and then drag it into the body of the message you are
composing.

Okay - the long version.

When composing the mail, use the Insert Menu, select "Item" - than navigate
to the folder where the mail message resides. Click on the mail item and
select insert. Use Insert as item or text, as you prefer.

Personally, the shorter version works just fine for me.

I forgot add that I use WORD as my email editor. In this case, the only
option under Insert menu is File. Anyway I found out if one uses the Outlook
as the email editor, then one can Insert menu has File, Item & Signature.

Thanks.

I've always found drag-and-drop of the prior message to the new one works.
