attaching a previous email as an email attachment

I need to attach a previous email as an attachment to a new email as a
reference to prior correspondance.
 
With your email open on screen, go to Insert menu and select Item. You can
then browse your mailbox folders to select the email to insert
 
Thanks, I tried that but outlook folders weren't a choice. I found out that I
can drag the email to my desktop and insert the email as a file from my
desktop so I did find an answer to my question.

With your INBOX active and the email you want to include as an attachment
selected BUT NOT OPENED, click on EDIT>>COPY. Then in the email you're
trying to send, click PASTE and the other email will be included as an
attachment.
