Question

When I try to open an attachment my systems locks up?
Why does it take so long to open an attachement ?
The only service i have running is defender, should I shut that off as well?

Does anyone know why?

I made the mistake of downgrading to vista with winmail from 98se with
outlook.
with the old system I only had to press control alt delete and try again
with this system
I have to yank the cord out of the wall.
New computer lots of memory and fast.

Does anyone know of an alternate pop 3 email program that works, with vista?
Or Microsoft allows
to work using Vista
Sad to find so many problems here, I would have thought by this attempt of
selling an operating system the knowledge of programing would have had us
with a flawless email. Guess not.

Mozilla... I tried it, WOW....every thing works..more over
FAST. Easy to read and well laid out .... Gary, thanks for this....

I moved to Thunderbird a few days ago after giving Windows Mail a good
run. I doubt I'll be going back

Many people like Thunderbird. I'm holding out for the
release of Windows Live Mail before deciding whether to
switch to Thunderbird.
