Attached messages

Outlook XP

I have a message that contains several other e-mails attached to it.

If I open the parent message (the one containing all of the attached
e-mails) and then open all of the attached messages (totalling ~200KB) and
then switch the folder that I am currently viewing in Outlook (say from
Folder1 back to the Inbox). The parent message will stay open, but all of the
child (attached) messages will close.

The same applies (aside from the parent message staying open) when I open
the child (attached) messages using the preview pane.

Suggestions are greatly appreciated.
