Attach Mail Merge Letter to Contacts

I know I can manually attach letters to a contact card. However, can I do it
automatically following a mail merge? In other words, is it possible to link
the letter to all recipients without going in to each individual card?
 
Nothing is built into Outlook or Word to do that.
