Attach a new template in Word 2007

In older versions I was accustomed to using teh Templates and Addins menu to
attach a new template to a document.

Can this still be done in Word 2007 and if so how?

Thanks

First, add the Developer tab to the Ribbon:
Click the Office button to display the Office menu; click Word Options to
display the Word Options dialog box; click Popular (in the left pane); check
the Show Developer tab in the Ribbon check box and click OK.
Then…
On the Developer tab, in the Templates group, click Document Template to
display the Templates tab of the Templates and Add-ins dialog box; click
Attach, and then select the document template you want to attach; click Open
to attach the template and click OK.

Hi J.,

In addition to the method mentioned, you can use the Word 2003 keyboard shortcut (Alt, T, I) to attach a template without having to
display the Developer tab in the Ribbon.

A third way to open the dialog box: Office button | Word Options, Add-Ins
category. For "Manage," choose "Templates," and click Go.
