ATT doesn't support Windows Mail - HELP

We bought this new computer and setup high speed internet with AT&T
Service was "turned" on Friday 3/23, but I am unable to get the email
account setup. AT&T tells me they do not support Windows Mail and I need to
contact Mircrosoft. The phone number they gave me is for "fee based"
information.

It appears I may be sending the emails, but not receiving them.

This is the message that occurs:

Account: 'Windows Mail', Server: 'pop.att.yahoo.com', Protocol: POP3, Server
Response: '-ERR popgate unknown command', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server
Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC18

Any suggestions.
 
AT&T's claim that they don't support Windows Mail are pure baloney.
Windows Mail account settings are identical to Outlook Express.
Make sure you using the settings as shown here, especially with respect
to ports and SSL:
