atributes are assigned when saved. How do I remove them?

Saving documents to a CDRW are assigned attritutes, how do I remove these
attributes?
 
CD files are always read only.
Don't save to the CDRW - save to the hard drive and *copy* to the CDRW.
Copy back to the hard drive, right click the file in Windows Explorer,
select properties and uncheck the read only check box.
NEVER work directly to and from removeable media with Word.
