hi friends
i have a win2k domain with two domain controllers.since
my dns is giving problems,i want to create a parrallel
windows 2000 doamin and migrate my existing domain user
accounts,computer accounts and point my existing exchange
2000 server to my new domain.
what are the steps i should take before migration and how
do i use ADMT TOOL.
any refrences will be highly appreciated.

Looks like you are willing to go a long distance only coz DNS is screwed.
DNS can actually be easy to trouble shoot and clean.
MS.com has a whole load of links to Setting up DNS Correctly.

ADMT has a ADMT Migration Cookbook that you can go through. And a whole lot
more documentation. Thats your best source. I dont know how bad DNS is
scrwed on your domain, but if I were you, I would definately first bang my
head with DNS and then go anywhere near ADMT.

I second that. Running 2 domains in parallel, moving accounts and
Exchange... too much to ask for trouble with. If you're using DHCP for
workstations, it should be relatively easy to push out a change that your
DNS servers should be dc1, dc2. The same change would have to be made on
servers for them to see the correct DNS. Depending on how many servers you
have, that could be a really easy thing to do.

It'll also give you good experience with fixing a DNS issue.
