atitools and ATI services (what is that)

Hi,

I am using ATItools 0.27b2 togeher with a radeon X1950XTX (sapphire),
cat 7.8.
When I launch Atitools, it first gives me a warning message saying

"Your ATI card supports 2D/3D mode switching, but yo have the ATI services
disabled. ATItools works best when these services are enabled."

How to turn around and how to proceed for enabling / desabling ATI
services. My OS is vista 32 (home premium)

Thanks

Sid

If you don't know what the message means, don't use ATiTool for
overclocking, stick with the more foolproof Overdrive overclocking function
in CCC.

Overclocking the X1K cards with ATiTool is a page-long process, because the
cards have separate clock speed and voltage settings for 2D and 3D. Set the
voltages too high in ATiTool and you can easily damage the card.
