ATI2dvag error

Hello everyone,
Does anyone know what would cause this error? I get the Blues Screen of Death "saying Widows has shut down to protect my computer" and gave this file as the culprit ***ATI2dvag***

Thanks for any help.

I have the upgraded to the latest Drivers from ATI and still have the problem. My computer sometimes last a couple hours or a days or two then crashes with that error.

I have WindowsXP Pro SP2, Abit IC7-G Motherboard, ATI All-In-Wonder-9600XT 128mb

Have you recently changed graphics card? Install/re-install the latest
mobo drivers (released October).

This sometimes resolves these type of issues by ensuring the AGP driver
is OK. Shaun

Lots of people find a favourite way of loading the basic drivers. It
gives them confidence that these potential issues are sorted before
going onto further troubleshooting. On a new build/upgrade I tend to
load mobo drivers, load DX, load graphics card drivers and then load the
AGP driver from the mobo again (rebooting after each). Bit anal but I
can normally then exclude these from any troubleshooting later on if
things go wrong.

Hope you get it sorted but post back if not. Shaun
