MMC 9.13 has time-shifting which can not be turned off on the tuner. It can
be turned off on the S-Video/ composite input. The All-in-Wonder series has
some hardware assist while the TV wonder series is completely software. This
uses more CPU time than the previous versions of MMC.
I've got a P4 2.4 GHz with 768 RAM, a TV Wonder VE and an integrated sound
chip. According to the XP Task Manager MMC takes about 1/3 of my CPU with
nothing else happening. I sometimes get a stutter in the audio while I'm
using the mouse scroll wheel or dragging windows in IE. Your results may be
worse if you've got a less powerful CPU or are doing more CPU- intensive
tasks.
open up the TV and click on options
go to the audio tab and change the settings around--
it got fid of the stuttering for me and my HDTV wonder
