ATI TV locks up due to hyperthreading

Can someone please help me. I have a pentium 4 processor
with hyperthreading. My ATI tv tuner card will play fine
and then just lock up. I read that Microsoft has a fix
for this for win XP but I haven't been able to find it.
If someone has been able to fix this problem, please
email me instructions on what to do to:

Where did you read this? There should have been information on how to
obtain that fix on the page. I couldn't find it. Have you tried
removing all the old drivers/software and installing all of the latest ones?
