ATI RAGE 128Pro

Will the ATI Rage pro 128 operate in mu MSI 865PE Neo2-P ?

Before I install it I should know if it might possibly be a 3.3 V AGP 2X
interface - which is not
supported and WOULD damage the board and the VGA card possibly ?

The VGA card has 3 notches and is (in the ATI blurb) stated to be 2X and 4X
compatible.
So if it is 2X compatible , does that mean it's a type 3.3V - and to ba
avoided ?

Thanks for any advise

There as well, it shows the Rage 128PRO to be the first of their 2x/4x
cards, supporting both 3.3 and 1.5V

Ensure that it IS a PRO, as the Rage 128 non-pro is strictly AGP 1.0
specification.

It would appear that 2x (AGP 1.0) = 3.3v, 4x (AGP 2.0) = 1.5v
and 8x (AGP 3.0) = 0.8v

At least for ATI, it seems the speeds and voltages are consistent - it
supports the speed AND the voltage, or neither.

It's still a pretty lame card to be be putting in a recent motherboard
though!
