ati radeon 9800 pro and xp

Hi,

I have a new pc, and put together the parts
only now everything works niceliy, I installed
windows xp and nothing was wrong untill i installed
the catalist drivers i got with the radeon 9800 pro 128
mb. When i did i couldnt start windows anymore (wouldnt
go further then loading bar) and i can start in safe mode but
when its started it immediatly reboots itself. Does anyone know
what this problem could be? And maybe know other drivers for the
card?

Hello,

Put the video card "ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB" in a working computer. Then
load the drivers Catalist drivers that came with the card "on CD" if it does
the same thing you have a defective video card.
Before you do this make sure nothings using IRQ 16
