ATI MMC and widescreen monitor

I have a Dell 2405 FP monitor and a X1800 All-In-Wonder. Latest 6.1 drivers
and MMC 9.13. I cant' seem to find an fixed aspect ratio setting that
doesn't think my 16:10 screen is a 3:4 screen - in other words, if I set it
to 4:3 it ends up 16:10 on my monitor. If I set it to 16:9, it gets very
short and wide.

Even when I uncheck 'keep panel aspect ratio', I adjust the aspect ratio to
the proper dimensions. It works exactly the same, checked on unchecked. I
thought on previous versions that allowed you to adjust the corners to
whatever you wanted....

Anyway, am I missing something? Or does MMC not have a clue about any
monitor other than 4:3?

Thanks,

Ned

I haven't loaded 9.13 yet but I hope it's similar to 9.08. In the
multimedia select bar (TV,DTV,DVD etc) there is a config box you can
select. One of the choices is " I have a widescreen display ". Check
that and your aspect ratio problems should go away. That was making me
crazy a year ago and even ATI email support didn't get it.

Good luck
