ati catalyst false positive - 5745

Can I get a reading from anyone affected by the ATI
catalyst false positive in 5743 whether this has been
resolved in 5745? I don't have information one way or
the other--what's your experience.

I addressed this in the Applications Compatibility
yesteday. The 5743 definitions addressed this problem. I
just wished I had known about it before hand. I had tried
an update just before I ran the scan and the new
definitions were released a few hours later.

I'm clear that this is fixed in 5745. Thanks for the additional
confirmation.

False positives are problem--it's well worth checking detections that appear
to relate to a known application carefully, regardless of the reputation of
the detecting product.

For Microsoft Antispyware, this group is the place to look for this kind of
information--and there will be an equivalent public group when the product
releases, I'm sure.
