ATI Catalyst Control Center now not working

Don Awalt

I upgraded to 5536 pre-RC1, and when I bring up the ATI Catalyst Control
Center, the graphics settings bar is blue with nothing in it. The wizard
doesn't take you through anything, there's basically no configuration
stuff showing in it. I have a Radeon X800 XT.

Anyone else seen this? Should I reinstall the May Vista package that is
on ATI's site, hopefully it does not install old drivers but reinstalls
the Catalyst Control Center?

Thanks

I would wait a few days for RC1 (build 5600) to become available for CPP
participants and upgrade from pre-RC1 (5436) to RC1. Build 5600 is already
released to TechBeta. ATI should have drivers for RC1 posted very soon.
Don't go back to 5384. Ever.

Had the same problem. Also had a problem where the display selection screen
came up at startup every time. Also got the BSD when resuming from standby.
Had to revert back to the old drivers. Guess we'll see again next week
when RC1 is out.
