ATI Catalyst 6.3 and AIW X800XL

I've tried the 6.3 drivers on my X800XL AIW card. It caused my TV session
to stutter. The frames would pause increasing over time so with in a minute
the video would stop updating, but sound would continue. I'm also using MMC
9.09 which came with the card. I'm afraid to upgrade to MMC 9.13 because it
was horrible with my X600PRO AIW card which had problems getting guide+ to
record shows.

Currently, I also have problems with being able to record shows and
ATIsched.exe crashing. So far I seem to see this problem if the show is
more than 1 1/2 hours and its reproducable.

You cannot use cat 6.3 with anything other than MMC 9.13

Well I wasted my time installing Catalyst 6.3 and MMC 9.13. MMC 9.13 still
sucks and is still broke with Catalyst 6.3. I fell back to Catalyst 6.2 and
MMC 9.09. I can live with not recording stuff over 1 1/2 hours with
ATIsched.exe.

Just a suggestion, did you adjust your "Available Disk
Space" settings on the drive you are recording to? When I
had problems recording long programs, or not getting any
recordings to run, I discovered I had to lower the amount of
free space to leave on the drive down to about 5 Gigs. That
allowed my recorder to record 3-4 hours at a time, and
haven't lost a recording since.

If it's not that, not sure what it would be. Using CAT 6.2,
MMC 9.03, and AIW X800-XT AGP.

So I wonder what a Win2K user is supposed to do?

They've posted the 6.3 Cats but MMC is 9.08. I installed the 6.3s and
reinstalled 9.08 and as I suspected, no TV. Removed 9.08 and took a
chance on the XP 9.13. Something's quite wrong. Guide+ doesn't start
the TV. Starting TV and the sound is several seconds out of synch.

Anyone know what's going on?

Well, I do know that Guide+ does NOT work well with 9.13. I'm hoping
there will be an update to Guide+ soon!
