Athlon 64 Venice and MSI K8N Diamond

Hi,

Just ordered the above combo and I hope they will work OK with the shipping
BIOS, V. 1.1 (I think).
Anybody tried this, and will I be better off getting a Winchester instead of
the Venice?
As to RAM I know that bthe Winchester has problems running at 400Mhz with 4
Doublesided modules. I was hoping the Venice has solved this, but I cannot
find any info on it anywhere.
The reason I want to run 4*512 MB modules instead of 2*1024 MB is that
1024MB modules are only avalable in CL3, but I can get 500Mhz CL2.5 512
modules making the setup a lot easier to overclock.
I plan to get 4 200MB Samsung SATA II drives in 2 RAID0 setups. The graphics
card will be a 600XT or some 6600 variety.

Any thoughts ad suggestios on the setup will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!!

Don't worry about CL3 vs CL2.5, you won't notice any performance
difference. Even going from 400MHz to 333MHz won't make a noticeable
difference, it's less then a percent or two.
