Athlon 64 FX55 and Registered Memory

Hi

I need a confirmation regarding the Athlon 64 FX55 and Registered
Memory. My understanding is that the 939 Athlon 64 FX55 doesn't use
Registerd Memory, unlike previous FX models, and uses standard memory
instead.

Is this correct?

However, I'm not sure what your problem is but if someone asks a
polite question for confirmation, it's reasonable to expect a polite

940 pin parts, Opterons and the first generation of Athlon 64s, use
registered memory. The 939 and 754 pin parts use unbuffered memory.
