Hello, All,

You guys have all been so willing to help that I feel morally bound to let
you know the solution to my no-sound problem.

I always specified digital sound output when installing SoundBlaster, and it
always worked with the old motherboard. This time, with the new motherboard,
it conflicted with the digital sound output of the onboard sound generator.
When the tech turned the digital sound output off on the SoundBlaster, the
sound miraculously returned.

Thank you again to all who tried to save my bacon for me.
