ASw Does a Doublemint Twin - I Kid U Not

Don't get me wrong, I like this program - but it does seem to do some
peculiar stuff.

This AM for the AM daily scan (as scheduled - regular as clockwork - isn't
that nice), I found it running in tandem (or it sure looked that way in Task
Manager) in two separate accounts. Now I only scheduled it in my Admin
account which is where I installed ASw originally. I was doing some work in
a limited account which required Admin priv (WinXP Home, via change in User
Account and then back again - aargh) and I was surprised to find two
complete instances of ASw - one in each account - running happily away (have
printscreens to prove same) - duplicating each other's work. Glad
arbitration between them wasn't an issue!

I wonder if I could have triplets?? Quints?

If it does this and I had lots of admin accounts open - at what point does
my CPU melt? (kidding)

PS - To the Microsoft Reader: I use WinXP Home, primarily in single user
system (actually have 3 systems and 3 honest to god really legitimate paid
for with hard earned dollars at a real retail outlet original type copies of
WinXP Home), but I really like to keep my admin accounts separate - so I
have my everyday use IE and OE in a limited account (with HIGH security) -
and I have other stuff which I want safe and protected in other user
accounts. I sure do hope this "architecture" stuff gets a lot smarter/easier
as I hot-switch from one sandbox to another all day long :). I bet I just
don't even know half of what I might or should about it (image of individual
squirming on hard chair).

And don't get me wrong, its beta. ;-) Yes, there are a lot of know issues,
but we should see a lot of improvements by beta 2, interms of UI and
scheduling features of MSAS. Plus reporting information.

This version does not support Limited accounts or multiple user accounts on
1 computer. This has been mentioned before and will be addressed in a future
release.
