ASUS GeForce 6600 Graphics Problem

Hi everyone,
just the one query.
Although the subjects NViDia nForce4 Graphics Card is DVI capable it will
only run in VGA mode.
Recently changed to a 19" TFT Monitor by Belinea 10 19 27 / Art. No. 111925
[NoDB] and bought a new 24 pin DVI-D cable with no luck.
Any possible solutions to this?
Thank you.

See if there's a setting to enable DVI in Display
Properties, the Geforce 4 % tab.

Try a newer driver too if you weren't running latest (now
81.xx, IIRC) version from nvidia.com. Google for "Coolbits
2" for a registry mod to add even more features.

It should indeed support DVI if it has the DVI connector.

For mine to work properly, I had to plug the DVI cable before booting the
computer, and the card automatically switch to the DVI connector. Carefull not
to use the VGA connector at the same time, otherwise it will use the VGA
connector.

BTW. I have a DELL 2001FP, and it's the way it worked for me
