Asus download site gone ??

I've tryed to reach Asus download site for over a week but it can't be
found. www.asus.com.tw not reachable either.
I used to go to
http://www.asus.com.tw/support/download/item.aspx?ModelName=P4C800 Deluxe
to download to my P4C800 DL. Gone too.

Any help out there.

Last week sprintlink was playing hell so maybee there are problems again
today..
but it def works for me

I *always* get that problem. Fix is to delete the ".tw" from the URL and
thus the dl comes from the .com site.
(Too easy - even I figured it out & that's saying something).

For many, at least in europe (where you seems to be, using Telia),
using the Italian download-site can be faster:
http://www.asus.it/support/download/download.aspx

In my experience it's also more stable. I also use the german FTP-site
for downloads: ftp.asuscom.de. Sevral times I have found e.g.
BIOS-updates and driverupdates on the german site which hasn't been
available through the Asus' Websites.

It's almost always down for me, but I can often access it through a USA or
Taiwan proxy server. I suspect some routes to it are really bad.

Nice and easy solution. I did as I were told. Took away .tw.
Now I´m on the road again.
