Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe revision?

D

David Yackness

I just purchased an Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe motherboard from my local
supplier.

I assumed that they had sold me the latest and greatest version, but
now I'm not so sure.

When I run SiSoft Sandra, the board is reported as REV 2.xx.

However, when I opened up my case, it is silkscreened with rev 1.01
(near the A7N8X-E marking).

Is Sandra making a mistake and my reseller selling me the wrong board?

And could someone please post a link with the differences between the
different versions of this board?

I need to take this back ASAP before I have problems returning it if I
have to!

Thanks!

as a reseller you can only sell what your supplier gives you. So it is not
the resellers fault that a warehouse happens to have a bunch of rev 1 boards

First there was A7N8X Deluxe Rev 1.XX (several versions of XX)
Then, A7N8X Deluxe Rev 2.0
For the next design they changed the name to A7N8X-E Deluxe Rev 1.01

So, the -E 1.01 comes _after_ the non E 2.0
All is well - no ripoff :)
