I've built one system on "regular" A7N8X DX, another on -E DX - both
have worked perfectly.

Been using it with XP2000 and 1GB Corsair Ram 24/7 for several months as my
main workstation.

No problems to report everything works fine. One note I have seen many bad
reports about the IDE driver in the Nvidia Driver Set. I have never loaded
this one though I have used all the others.

I have the board and am using it now with a 2800+ overclocked to 3000+..
no issues at all except the irritating voice on boot ;-)

You can disable that in the BIOS Set up.

I'm running two around the clock wth no troubles. Both run Mobile
Bartons 2500+ @ 2,5Ghz. Using Generic RAM.

I have both an A7N8X-Deluxe and an A7N8X-E (? .. the one with the GB net
card slot). Both have XP1800+ CPUs. The Deluxe board gave up the ghost
and refused to run POST. I don't know why but believe it had to do
with a bad AGP card. The -E motherboard has been running fine for over
6 months although it tends to reboot a lot during lightning storms even
though I have an APC UPS.

For comparison, I also have an Abit KR7A mobo with an XP 1800+. It
gave me untold problems with random crashes. MemTest86 didn't turn up
anything. The cure was to decrease the buss frequency from 133 to 100 MHz.

My next system will be a complete off-the-shelf system from a reputable
dealer. If it doesn't work, it will be returned. Computers are
commodity items now, like toasters.

I use this almost exclusivly for music, video editing, TV-DVD, VHS viewing and
capture, DVDRW and CDRW, digital camera and picture editing. This machine is an
always-on, hard use system that seldom crashes and has been running almost
flawlessly for a year and a half. It does seem to run a little warm, ideling at
45 and pushing 54-57 when video editing.

I have since built a A7N8X-DX and a A7N8X-X both with similiar specs except for
512mg. Corsair Value Select 3200 memory and CDRW drives instead of DVDRW. Both
perform very well although they haven't been used as hard as the original build.
Both newer machines run cooler (35-40).

There isn't much not to like about this board and I'll probably build one more
with the E board and a 3200 Barton before moving on to the 64's. I hope this
helps.
