Asus A7N8X Deluxe - what problems?

Just about to purchase and upgrade pc with A7N8X Deluxe rev 2 board, 2800
Barton and 2x 512 pc3200 Crucial sticks.
However keep seeing reference to bios probs with this board...especially
in
connection with memory.
Anyone got advice about this, acceptable memory sticks etc.
Thanks.

I am running this with a pair of Crucial 512MB PC2700 sticks and a XP2000.
It is on 24/7 and I have had no problems at all.

Hope this helps

Got the same m/b here and I use a 512mb Crucial ram stick, (with
Windoze xp home and a 128mb Radeon 9600 pro agp card and a 120gb SATA h/d)
and I've no probs at all. This is a great m/b!

My buddy has the Rev 1 board and had a problem with his memory. Apparently,
that rev had a BIOS that had a hard time with fast memory. It wouldn't
always read the correct timing for the memory. It wound up damaging a
memory stick he had by running it at CLS2.0 instead of CLS2.5 like Kingstons
web site said it should have been. He updated the BIOS, had to return his
memory stick to Kingston for replacement, and his system is working fine
now.

I've got a V2 deluxe running mushkin memory with a 1600+. Not a single
problem since assembled - about 6 months ago.
