Associate unzip file attribute in Vista

LiveAndLearn

When I fist installed Vista - a few days ago - when I open a zip file, a
Windows default program would open the zip file.

After I installed a program called Quickzip, this program will be opened
whenever I double-click on a zip file.

I tried to associate the zip file with the Windows default zip utility, the
question is, where is it? What is its name?

Thanx in advance

Do you not want to use QuickZip?
Try to uninstall it and see if Vista will work as it did.
If not download this Reg patch, right click and select Merge.

Thanx for replying.

Yes, I still like to use QuickZip, which is very handy for unzipping
multiple zip archives.

But QuickZip becomes a hassle (not a time saver) when the zip file I try to
unzip contain in a folder. Quickzip doesn't facilitate folder unzipping. I
sometimes need to unzip 30-50 files at a time. For a zip archive that contain
a folder, the Windows default utility is a better option. So i need both. You
see my dilenma.

The best solution is probably a unzip utility that can extract file from a
zipped folder. Know any such utility?

Thanx 4 replying.

That was my original question. Where's the Windows zip utility? I just can't
find it. I know it's there, otherwise Vista wouldn't able to unzip my zip
file in the first place (before I installed Quickzip).

Cheers,

L&L

P.S. not .rar file (not that it matters to the question)
