I have inserted both on one slide, how do I associate them so users can
scroll through the text of that particular slide?

To get scroll bars you will need to use a control text box from the control
toolbox (view > toolbars>control toolbox)

Right click and in "properties" set enter key and multi line to true, scroll
bars > vertical
You will also need to adjust the font and maybe the colour.

Easiest way to add text in in a slide show after which you may want to lock
the text box again in properties.

Did that answer the question / help?

Try inserting a text box control instead of attempting to associate a scroll
bar with the slide's text.

Set the text box control's MultiLine property to True and its ScrollBars
property to something other than 0/None

Fill it with the text you want and you're good to go, I suspect.

Hello,
Sorry been a while, I have screenshot of your suggestion however I do not
see Multi Line or Enter options under Properties, using PP version 2003, I
will try to get screen shot to you here. Many thanks.
