Assigning tasks

I have selected "keep an updated copy of this task on my task list" when
assigning tasks but am not receiving the updates.

Are you on Exchange server, and is everyone in question using the mailbox
for storage (as opposed to a PST file)?

Yes and yes. I was messing around with it on Friday and finally got one task
to update. But it took about an hour and a half. Is that normal?

Are you using OL2003 and cached mode?

Yes, we are using OL 2003, but it doesn't appear to be in cached mode.
Should it be? I don't see this as an option to select it, so maybe our
administrator has disabled it?

Is it grayed out?
If you have an Exchange admin, they ought to be the ones to help you with
this....
