assigning drive letters

Sometimes I have 3 usb external hard drives connected to my computer, and
sometimes windows changes the letters on the drives , for example one drive
may change from G to H and the next time I connect up the same drive it will
assign a different letter to the same physical drive. My question is . Is
there any way I can choose which letters to assign to each drive?
