Assigning an access key to a command

Trying to do a simple little form and do searches using the filter by
form. Instead of clicking on the icon, I would prefer a keyboard
shortcut to enable Filter by Form - can't find one - so tried assigning
an access key to do so. Here's what I tried:

- since alt-F will activate the File menu, I moved the ampersand in the
name box (toolbars, customize, name box) to the l - typing alt-l while
in the form does nothing

- added a number in front of the name (&9Filter by Form) - alt-9 does
not work either

By the instructions, I gather that this should be possible, but is that
not the case?

Would also then like to do same for 'Apply Filter', hence my operation
to find a record in my database would go like:

- shortcut (for Filter by Form)
- entering text
- shortcut (for Apply Filter)

which I find much quicker, personally.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Thanks for the reply! Guess I was hoping I could set it up to do it
all with one key, but well, can't have everything..!

Thanks again!
Martin
