Assign a different style template to auto signatures than Normal

I need to assign a different template to my auto signature in Outlook, other
than the Normal template.

This is because I dont want line spacing after each line in my auto
signature, but my Normal templete includes 12pt after each paragraph

End each line with Shift+Enter, instead of Enter.

Thanks for that tip - solved the problem of unwanted line spacing but for
some reason introduced another problem where the auto signature is now evenly
justified across the whole page - I have checked the paragraph format is left
justified which is as I want it. Can you help?

I usually make sure the signature includes a blank line at the top so that it doesn't pick up formatting from the message paragraphs.
