ASR - Automated System Recovery

I'd like to do an Automated System Recovery and just backup my system files,
etc. That's the way its supposed to work according to the dialogs in the
Windows XP Pro's backup utility. However, every time I try it it only lets
me backup the entire contents of the Hard Drive. I don't want to do that.

Does anyone know how to make this thing work?

ASR will backup all files on your system drive partition. It does not only
backup system files.
 
I have the same problem and I would appreciate anyone that knows how to
correct this that they would advise me how. (e-mail address removed)
