ASP publishing problems ahead?

Hi,

Re: FP2002.

I'm designing a form on a clients website which requires additional ASP work
as a sequential number needs to automatically inserted into the form and the
submit button has to email the form results to two different addresses,
print two copies of the form and redirect the user to a confirmation page.

I have no problem designing the basic form but I have got to get an ASP
programmer I know to do the ASP work. I'd like your advice on the best
procedure to follow to make sure that there are no publishing hic ups.

I intend to design the form as far as I can and then email just the form to
my programmer. He'll then do the programming and then email it me back so I
can overwrite his version of the form with the original version. Will I be
able to click on the publish button and hey presto! everything will work?

Or have I got the wrong end of the stick completely?

He'll probably send you more than the form, there will probably be a
confirmation page and possibly others. you should be able to save them to
your local computer from your email program, then in FrontPage hit file/
import/ and bring them in to FrontPage for publishing. If you're concerned,
just bring the form in with a different name than your current form, publish
it up and test it. then if it works right, rename it to the name of your
current form thereby overwriting the original.
