.asp pages containing Database results does not work

I have a problem with .asp pages containing Database results, when
browsing I get Http 500 error.

Until now I have used same pages many years in NT4 server with FPSE
2000 without any problem, but when I put pages to WIN2003 server I can
not view pages with database connections. Other .asp pages works Ok.

Pages are built using FP2000. Does FPSE 2002 support all FP2000
functionality, or could it be that I have to rebuild these database
connections using FP2003 to get them work?

Client: Frontpage 2000 (at XP client)
Intranet Server: Win2003 server, IIS6, FPSE 2002
(access databases)

Best regards,
Sami

Windows 2003 server has a different permissions structure from prior versions of Windows server,
basic many features are disabled. Suggest you post to the Windows Server newsgroup.

Also, ASP may not be enabled by default on Win 2003. Win 2003 uses a
different component model so that an administrator can turn on and off
particular functionality such as ASP, CGI, etc., as a way to protect from
unwanted hacking. You'll need to make sure that ASP really is on first.

Thanks Mark and Thomas,

I checked settings from IIS Web Service Extensions, and even I set
"allowed" for extensions, but error remains. I'm not expert in WIN2003
adminstration, but can you tell is .ASP restictions elsewhere in
settings? (I have set permissions on directory level and in IIS
settings).

Problem solved, after all last needed setting was in IIS. (default web
site=>properties=>home directy=>confiquration=>options=>parent)
FP2000 database results work fine with FPSE 2002.
