I'm running XP Pro but am having difficulty accessing web
sites pages of the form www.xxxxxx/index.asp
Internet Explorer returns "Help/Navigation Error - Server
Error. The server failed to return this URL
http://www.xxxxxx.co.uk/index.asp
Different page suffix's on the same website I can access
OK.
If anybody has any ideas I will be most grateful.

Specifically, which sites?

Sounds like you have Internet Optimizer installed, or some other
Spyware/adware infecting your system.

Check out Ad-aware and Spybot to clean and protect.

If you are having trouble with specific sites, the website server could be
configured incorrectly. This, of course, is beyond your control.
