Asian -English

An Asian computers was recently donated to our
afterschool center. It haOne his XP Pro, and a lot of
other apps too in Chinese or Korean. I don't want to wipe
the disk, I want to save the apps if I can. Is there a0
way to convert XP Pro to English or do I have to install
an English version? Can I get the menus and such to
display in English? It's very difficult as I can't read
anything - most of it is squares instead of letters.

You have to format and install the english version. I don't think and
upgrade install will convert it correctly or even run.
 
Sorry, you can't convert it. You will have to buy and install the English
version.

You cannot upgrade or convert from one language version of the OS
to another, so you'll have to purchase and use the full version of
English WinXP to perform a clean installation.
