.asf file play

Help,

Some friends recorded our granddaughter's first birthday and loaned me the
camera to copy the tapes and get some pictures. I have figured out
everything, except when I download the stills from the camera, I am getting
some files named .asf. Clicking them opens the WMP but I get the message

"The audio codec identified by the format tag 45 is required to play this
file. To determine if this codec is available to download from the Web,
click Web Help."

The web help is helpless. The camera doc says I need "Sharp G.726 Audio
Codec." I found a zip file on the web that seems to be that and it contains
two files mgp2sd32.ax and mpeg4ax.inf.

I made sure the WMP is set up for the file type and to download the codecs
automatically.

Are these what I need? and what do I do with them? If not, where do I go to
get the information I need to use this?

Thank you,

Steve

Try re-registering scg726.acm, which is the G.726 that you will already have
on your system.
